Kiro Downloader removes a repeated manual setup task on Linux x64. It checks the installed version, avoids unnecessary downloads, extracts releases, and creates launcher and desktop entries for common environments.

It is deliberately small: a focused automation tool with clear progress output and predictable version handling, built to solve a real personal workflow problem rather than become a package manager.
